Best/ cost efficient way of fitting duratec
Hi everyone
I am wanting to convert from my pinto to duratec and already have Dth bodies, management and water rail. Any wet sumps for std crossmember? If I have to run a lowered rack, what is the best way to eliminate bump steer as I want the car to handle as well as possible
Re: Best/ cost efficient way of fitting duratec

One thing to consider for bump steer is this kit http://markholmesautoengineering.co....product_id=655

Burtons sell a sump as do a few other companies that will work with a lowered rack https://www.burtonpower.com/steel-we...rwd-fd654.html

Not got a Duratec but a Zetec but I had to lower my rack by 15mm with the Retroford cast sump, I have adjustable TCA's, -12 offset 8X13 Minilites and I don't get any bump steer at all, in fact on the last track, Angelesy, it handled like a touring car!
