what thread are coilover tubes ?
as title, does anyone know what thread is used on the commonly available 2.25" diy coil over conversion kits?

Bilstein uses M52 x 1.5 but don't know if other manufacturers use the same.

I would think they're bigger than that, aren't they?
I mean the conversation sleeve fits over the top of the normal tube size doesn't it, so they're already a larger external diameter than M52 aren't they?
Maybe M54 or something like that maybe?
I don't know I'm just guessing though really.

Re: what thread are coilover tubes ?
i think tube is 51 and thread cuts almost through the thin tube so sounds about right to me. im thinking of going adjustable but keeping the 5 1/4 springs but will need to go DIY i think to keep std spring seats. steel lock rings in steel at 52 are available i see.
