Gasket set for 1.6 Kent motor Ford escort mk 2

Hi guys, I'm Dayz

I'm new here and was wondering if you guys might know where I could possibly find a gasket set for my Escort mk 2, it's a 1.6 Kent motor, and I've been looking for ages now and can't seem to find one. One other thing I've been looking for is a set of taillight lenses. If you have any luck, please let me know, I really appreciate it.

For anything Ford, classic Ford, related try Burton Power or the TS sponsors.

Indeed - I just checked Burton's and they list top end and bottom end gasket sets and everything between. They also list 'new' Mk1 rear light lenses although the quality of these may be questionable if they are anything like the commonly available mk2 versions - they aren't cheap either, but no doubt much cheaper than some originals off Ebay!

You could also try MAR Motorsport in the Midlands, they stock most things crossflow and are very good.

just ordered from MAR and indeed good service.

as the lenses are magnum i think, try TJ motorsport as he will do gaskets too. the address etc is on this site if you have a look, theres a recommended seller section
