Jenvey fuel rail mount length

Hi,

May be a more simple question than I'm making it.
Purchased 45 Jenvey throttle bodies and the Jenvey fuel rail for my Zetec Blacktop. Jenvey say they are compatible with 14mm Bosch and PICO injectors.

Std Bosch injectors off the Zetec - fuel rail mounts too far away from throttle body to hold injector. I assumed there must be a different length fuel rail mount for different injectors.

Phoned Jenvey - they said I can't fit the std Bosch injectors - need a set of PICO - so I bought a set. These are even shorter.

Where am I going wrong? Surely there must be different length fuel rail mounts?

Those appear to be the same injectors I have in my Jenvey 45's - Bosch 712's from memory - and they fit fine! A closer up photo may give a better idea of the problem?
