think i buying a 2ltr pinto tommorrow and was wondering would it bolt 2 my 4 speed box out of my 1.3xflow? i know it wont b very strong but would it get me driving til i can afford a rs2000 4 speed. if it does bolt 2 it wot clutch would i use. also would the standard radiator work or would i have 2 get a bigger 1.
if u got the 1300 radiator ur guna need a bigger 1.
wouldn't it be best to get a type 9 from a sierra. those box's are like £20 - £30.
yeah i got a 1.3 radiator. wot type should i get do transit ones work. dont really want 2 use a 5 speed box as its more of a job 2 fit 1 than it is 2 fit a 4 speed isnt it?
Yes it will bolt to the 1.3 'box but as you say the 'box won't last long,as for the clutch you need one for a non gt 1600 ohc cortina/capri which has a 7/8" x 20 spline
If you're getting used parts it's worth getting the 1600ohc flywheel as well

had a pinto on 1300 box for 6 months in mine. broke a halfshaft and still have box as a spare.
