2.3 Scorpio auto, can I mate it to a type 9

I think I can get a low mileage Scorpio hearse. That would be a 2.3 i4 engine..
I'd fit the engine in my MK1 Escort.
Currently that, has a crossflow, mated via an RS alloy bellhousing to a V6 type 9 with shortened input shaft.
What I need to know is, what is involved in mating the auto engine to the type 9??
    Obviously a flywheel but otherwise???
More informed the answer the better.
    Thanks.

Same as any engine ? main addition would be a spigot bush for the crank, as the auto setup would not have needed one. Whether they fitted them to all engines regardless or not...not sure.

    Thanks for the reply.
However it's the specifics I am seeking.
Exactly what flywheel, spigot bush etc.
    What machining etc is needed.
    Thanks
