Cheers for the comments GazzaMk2 - i loved your car and wanted to go home with it! What a colour and great to see a twin cam under the bonnet! Zetecs sound nice in escorts!

As for the engine, i'm looking to go bike carbs for now and then fuel-injection my crossflow! Ooooh yeah!

At the moment im just running coilovers, 1 1/2" lowering blocks, vented discs, electronic ignition and five speed box. Not really too bothered about going for massive spec - just want a cool and useable car!

Having said that, are you not planning a 4 door for a cosworth 4 pot engine? I'm not sure if the old girl would have kept herself together with a cossy!

If i see any 4 doors for sale local to me i'll let you know!

There is a meet tonight, the 6th July, at meadowhall retail park from 7pm onwards.
Just a word of warning though - i understand if you stay in the car park for more than two hours your a likely to get a fine as there are numberplate recognition cameras in operation!

Still a good little meet though despite the nazi's!

Thought i would just add an update to my car as it's had a change of wheels - gone from 7" superlites to 7" minators. Not sure if i prefer the superlights or the minators but it doesnt matter now as the superlites are for sale!

Thats a very nice car - i read your thread about keeping it standard and i agree - more original than modified is better!
Very envious - think i prefer you're beige colour to mine!

I know you were interested in my superlights (which have now sold) - i reckon you should just lower the car a bit and you may well think on keeping the revo's! Problem is that unrolled arches wont fit 185/60's under them on superlites or revo's without rubbing!

I think it's mk2matt on here (TS) who has revolution wheels and they look awesome on his car - its one of my favourite mk2's! Think he runs 175/50's though!

Big up to the beige - its the future!

no i have upgraded it nerw suspention,brakes and 1600gt engine and box it was too slow with a 1.1 no fun to drive
