    Wobbley wheels

    Hi lads

Had a small problem thats turned into a big one over time! Every time i brake at certain speeds and brake loads the wheels wobble like hell almost pulling the steering wheel out of my hands. Now ive just rebushed and changed evreything on the front including wheel balancing except the brakes. Does this sound like warped or uneven brake discs? Cus they do need changing but i wanted to make sure that it cures it!

    Aby ideas chaps?

sounds like warped discs to me, or grabby calipers, but more likley the discs, you can check the discs by taping a pointer (pencil, screwdriver) to something so it just touches the disc on an edge and spinning the disc.

My money is on warped discs. If you change them, make sure you cure the cause too - seized caliper usually at the root of this.

All the TCA's are new and theres no play in the wheel bearings Cossie, so i think i'll be on the phone to rally design and have me some of those vented and groved jobbies with some fresh pads
