looking for space to fit twin 40's on my mk2 escort sport, i running a x-flow and i was thinking of lowering the servo to make space, i was also wondering what i could do if i lost the servo and how i go about doing it. any idea's, dont want to lose performance in the brakes though.

if you get a high rise manifold its possible to fit the carbs over the top, otherwise lowering the tower can work, alternatively ditch the servo and use a non servo master cylinder from base model escort, a lot of cars i have seen have a single master cylinder like wilwood or girling and then use a remote reservoir pot, light and simple but only a single line system, no back up like with a dual circuit system, you could fit a remote servo to single line system if you want. finally you can put a bias box in and move everything inside the car out of the way. you.ll just have to push a bit harder.
