boost problems

Hi all hopefully someone will be able to help
Ive fitted a yb engine to my mk3 cortina it has stage 3
Ive tried it down the road today but just doesn't seem to boost ive got a -31 actuator ive set it up and then been trying 1/2 turn shorter and it seems to be that wherever its adjustment i only get 0.8 bar of boost full throttle down the road

Pull the pipe off the bottom of the turbo, off the brass one screwed into the turbo , then take it up the road and watch the gauge , this will give unlimited boost so be carefull, just watch the boost rise , if it don't make boost you have a problem , could be Amal valve , air leak , map sensor ?

Does anyone know what boost pressure i should be getting from a stage 3

Depend who's chip or map , if it's msd they love 2bar !!, but I'd say between 18 /25 max then it will tail off , unless joe at gs Motosport has mapped it then it just holds all the way to the limiter !!

If it was me would get the car set up properly ,as would like to know fueling and compression test just to check health of engine
