Williams start the ball rolling with a very odd looking car.

    How strange

Now we know why Montoya is leaving, he must have said "I'm not driving that ugly thing!"

Interesting development anyway, I'm sure if it's a big improvement they will suddenly all do that at the front of the cars. I must admit the first time I saw it I thought it was very retro in appearance. Circa 70's style front...

Is it my imagination (probably) or does the driver and engine look slightly further back???

    Sauber are next

This year they will be running the same engines and gearbox as Ferrari, and not year old ones.

Plus this years car looks 99% the same as last years Ferrari.

So who's driving in sauber this year? The car looks pretty handy. In fact, has there been a release of whos driving for who yet?

    Jag and Toyota unveil

Jaguar seemed to not like too many pics of their new car.

unlike Toyota, which probably mean they have loads more areo bits to go on the car before the 1st race.

    Re: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

That BMW looks like they are working v.hard towards the aero-dynamics and total high speed balance, front wheels look further forward (wheel-base increase?) driver further back, rear of side pods smaller (improved cooling system?) nose cone is bizaar, not sure why2 struts are now used, can only improve cornering at high speed though Superb enginering! I did want there to be a formula2, simplified version of F1, less/ no wings, skinny tyres &bigger wheels, max of 2.5ltr N/A, No T/Control etc bringing back the excitement, slowing corner speeds etc, increasing overtaking would be more entertaining for spectators I`m sure.

    that looks good.

I'm not sure if I like that the teams are allowed to put those additional wings on their cars. Completely spoils the lines IMO.

Not long now, Schumacher again this yr? Unlikely wit the McClarens and BMW, this season should be superb. Middle east looks great for drifting, soo much sand on the track, DOH! China circuit looks awesome, unbelievably hi tech. The pit straight complex is out of the 22nd century!!!! Silverstone needs a bit of a spruce up i think?

Not too keen on the new qualifying format, seems to go on for too long without happening.

Why, what's changed? I've not been keeping up with the news at all so don't know of any changes.
