steering knuckle joint

just fitted world cup xmember with lowered rack mounts and where the steering knuckle joins rack and column where they are recessed to take bolts obviously don't line up should I be drilling thru to take bolts or is there another extended knuckle I should be fitting

I bought a extra long one from Plr but was only as long as as other long ones sold, measure the length of the one you have now I think mine is about 100mm
