do they not argee to vaulue that high then?gana ring them properly soon with full specs anyways
Well i would definately enquire about that, cos you dont want something bad to happen and they say, here you go heres the market value £500 or something like that, they can be funny fookers insurance companys, they ask you what you think its worth and of course your gonna say a high amount. I know the rs owners club get someone to do a proper valuation of the car by looking at the car and looking at all your receipts etc.
I used to be with green light insurance and had trouble getting my rear panel repaired when that twat hit me in the queue at ford fair in '99. It ahd to go to a certain bodyshop to get it done after alot of hassle.![]()

thats often the case with insurers, give you a really good deal in the 1st year so they get your business and hopefully come renewal time you just automatically renew and then they make a real profit(my requote from elephant was proper pants though even though they were the cheapest last year)
problem might be driver wanting compo for wiplash so i would hand it over to the insurance company with protected no claims he would be sweet as
anyone at flux wanna sort me a decent discount on my renewal? its gone up again from last year, and up from the year before that
not happy!
Does anybody know if this deal is still available? I rang adrian flux today and it was just a massive waste of time, the bloke didn't have a clue what an escort was, all he did was ask the exact same questions that u answer on Gocompare so I'm guessing all he was doing was filling in the same form!!! then ever with 2years no claims and a limited mileage of 3000 he came back to me with £850 for a 1.3 and an extra £100 if I put a 1600 in, he knew so little i didnt even bother going into detail about how the engines gonna have a turbo bolted on it :S any suggestions on where i can speak to somebody who has a clue about cars???
Also rang classic ford insurance (from the back of classic ford mag) and got a bird who also didnt have a clue and when i mentioned "removable steering wheel" it all got way too confusing for her :| FFS!!!
i've insured several classics and modified cars through fluxes, no issue, infact they just insured my ldv tow van considerably cheaper than i got quotes for elsewhere
I insured my mk1 escort van through flux two years ina row and they have been great! The first year i had a 1300 x/f on a 4 speed and an agreed valve of 5k and that was 5000 miles at £840. they quoted me the same for my renewal a year ago and i rang them and told them about all the mod i was planning and that an insurance company matched the previous years price and they quoted me the same as the first year with a shaed load of mods. So i'm well happy. It is insurance time again soon so i will be joining up to here as a paid member for the discount aswell as the fact that peope on here are very very helpful!
I pay £390 on my mk2 with a xe and loads of mods I'm 25 with a clean license
Just renewed and were the cheapest by far for me
Also got my 17 year old daughter insured for under half the price of comparison websites![]()

Well, this seems familiar!
Yet again, it's up on last year, even with yet another years NCB on both policies needing renewing
Also, can anyone at flux answer me as to why the policy issue fees are different on the two renewals? This further adds to my suspicion of this figure just being plucked out of nowhere!
Already found other insurance companies who will substantially beat both renewal quotes, almost like you don't want my business any more!
Does anyone know if TS are still in contact with Adrian Flux?
Have you tried Pm ing DAN@ADRIANFLUX on here again?
