    Brembo Brake Upgrade

    Hi Guys,

After having a look at this theadr - http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthre...=brake+upgrade

    I decided to do similar

I ended up using 305x28mm Peugeot 406 rotors. They just required the inside hole widened 2.5mm and new mounting holes drilled.

The calipers are off a Alfa 166 and are very cheap here in Oz.

I am building a race car that I want to be street driven so making my own brackets weren't an option as they'd need to be approved by an engineer so I got some made up from a mate with a CNC machine and I think you'll agree they are sexy indeed.

There is slight pad over hang in the inside of the rotor but a tickle on the pad with a grinder will sort that out.

If anyone is keen I am getting quite a few made up so let me know if you're keen and we can talk

Any way a picture tells a thousand words so here are the pics.

Any questions let me know cheers

    Matt

Hey mate, they'll fit under 15" rims depending on the wheels.

    Cheers

Got the brackets all finished now. I got them cnc designed as I want the car to be engineered so I can drive it on the road

Got a few pairs spare of the brackets if anyone is keen

    Cheers

    Looks nice!

I have gathered most parts to do a similar thing but have not done the brackets yet. Shipping would probably be a killer from Melbourne to Sweden but I'd be interested...but perhaps a screen shot of the drawings first to confirm they fit my calipers etc.?

    Regards

    Gustaf

Hi TRP, I didn;t design these so I don't have any pics of the design for you.

    What calipers do you have?

If you send me your caliper measurements I'll let you know what the brackets are?

    Cheers

I have Alfa 166 Brembos. I can double-check the measurements though.

I had spacers made for Fiat couple brembos with 291mm jag disks but. He is taking a long time to make them.
