What can you recommend as a good exhaust manifold and system for a MK2 1600 escort

How deep are your pockets Alan?
Tony Law makes good manifolds but these are expensive (GBP 450); Ashley are a fraction of that (GBP 150).
But maybe have a look at Janspeed (if they are still trading).

Has anyone used sportex ? They do a full kit for not a lot of money ?

I purchased a full twin box, standard exhaust system for my old RS2 MK2 from Sportex and found them to be of good quality and fitment.
