Corsa B indicator & wiper stalk pinout

Currently attempting to wire up the Corsa switchgear on the column to the Escort lighting and wipers/washers. I'm starting from scratch with the Escort wiring, so that's not a problem, but I can't find any diagrams of the pins of the Corsa stalks. The

THe indicator stalk (which controls indicators, dip/main beam and pull to flash) has the following:

The wash/wipe stalk (intermittent wiper, pull to wash/wipe, push to wash/wipe rear) has:

I don't particularly fancy using a continuity tester on every combination of pins; there are potentially dozens for each stalk. Someone must have used them before?

I think the pin outs are pretty common throughout European cars
Looking at a Mk2 Escort wiring diagram the numbers make sense for the lights and indicators so I've added them below

The wipers and washers are 53 on the Escort diagram but it doesn't quite tie up so I've added some details I found on google

It should give you less to check if nothing else!

56b Dip Beam (so 56 and 56b are connected when the stalk is in the normal position)

53 Single speed
53e Self park
53a Live feed from fuse for wipers
53b Double speed
53h Maybe washer pump
WH
31 Earth for self park
