Hi guys:-)
I have recently bought a Transit mk2 2.0LC pinto :-)
It was fitted with a VV carb, where the choke system was dismantled, and the cam was worn down.
So I fitted a 2.0 cam and a 4/2/1 exhaust manifold, together with the new carb. Now I pulls so much better :-)
But when idle, the carb is floating over, and when i look down thru it, I can see, fuel dripping out of the main jet, and down on the throttle valve. I is an Pierburg Solex EEIT 35 from a Cologne 2.3 V6. With the original jets, so fare... When I start it, with the lid of, and i watch the needle valve, it seems to close fine. So I suspect the float level to be to high? But I can't find any data, on how high the level should be... Any other suggestions is much appreciated as well :-)
Best regards
Chris Denmark
