    1st piece of the puzzle

    A 1989 Auto Sierra Ghia,

    This model has an unleaded engine and a 4 Speed auto box with torque converter lockout, so this will be the basis for a very economical drive that if fully compliant with modern fuels.

    NOW this is absolutly amazine I found out today this is the same guy who sole me a MK1 13 years ago

    Clint, your also donating those new dampers and rear springs ...

    I'll have a look in the garage.. must have some stuffing there.

    Probably fit lesser tramp bars while its here.. just need some bushes.

    Collected, the gearbox was nearly £1000 to rebuild and it was done just over 10,000 miles ago not 20, so thats a complete bonus.

    Not 10% sure they were very happy at the £62 it festched

    With that Gearbox being bigger... do you think we may need a mini heater???

    And when its broken, dont scrap the suround, i'll build the tunnel to suit that so it fits in

    Clint scrap them wheels off it and that makes the car nearly £20 less

    Dave, there are moves afoot to recoup the entire £62 from what's left

    It's fully loaded for the year (no air con no electric sunroof but every thing else)

    I may have a buyer for the stereo for his Cosworth, and the 3 alloys will go for scrap.

    Plus the shell of the car will make about £30 at the scrappys

    It all adds up to free bits !!

    Good stuff can sling the old gearbox out of esme into it too get a few more quid for it

    And if people who are helping have any old steelies or scrap we can just fill it up and put the money into the pot
