If you are putting a t5 in your car you probly got big power so I would get a new prop made up, I had one made using transit joints good for 250 bhp for £200.
were cossie powering an rs 2000 at the moment ,you need to cut the trans tunnel out for t5 box is wider , and standard cossie prop needs 40mm off apparently, sump on cosworth engine needs cut and welded to clear front x member , 205 block and 200 blocks are differant thicknesses if you mock with differant engines as we found out ,
Sorry, but I beg to differ. My cossie MK1 has a YB fitted without cutting the bulkhead or the sump, although you are right in saying the gearbox tunnel needs some work.

it was needed on our car to cut the sump so engine sat nice and flat ,i only done this car, so not out to tell all how its done ,but we modded sump to clear world cup xmember sits nice now.
if you put the front half of a cossie prop onto the rear half of a rs2000 prop it works, if you can get a 2 piece prop and if your shell has a centre mount under it
so y carnt i use a single peice rs2000 prop? i have a larger tunnle ready 2 go in so thats not a problem.
as for engine power, its gonna e a high powerd pinto so its an easy/straight 4ward fit anyway. only useing the t5 box as i have 1 allready.
