C20 Xe Cam choice
Has anybody tried and had experience with piper bp300 mechanical cams fitted to the xe?
I am wondering if there is a better replacement from the popular QED 450 as this is now an old cam, even though a bloody good one.
I would like something from 3000-8000
Cheers

Re: C20 Xe Cam choice
Q450v is the newer design.
Have you looked at the catcams profiles? Greater range or profiles and sensibly priced as well. New man ph5s I've had honest 240bhp and 184ftlb from peaked at 7.6k iirc on an engine I built couple years back.
What specs the current engine?

Re: C20 Xe Cam choice
I run the Q450v in mine and find them very good. For a race cam they are very easy to drive at the lower end. Pull very well throughout the Rev range.
