Hi all, I've just fitted a Sierra rear disc setup on my mk1 escort English axle. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of what offset 13" wheels will fit? The standard rims won't go over. Thanks

I use these with no clearance issues http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product...ducts_id=14532
If I understand you correctly the offset is not important.
Some wheels (like std ones) have not enough clearances radially because of thick webbing on the inside of the rim.
Depends what you are calling standard rims. I managed sierra rear calipers with 13" mexico steels and also 13" alloy revolutions. I do know some lotus twin cam steels do not fit.
Useing 6x13 genuine minilights with no probs, also have hi spec 6 pots on front with no probs.
Didn't Sierras come with 14" / 15" rims? So if you've got sierra discs then I don't think you've got a hope with 13" rims. I think my kit came with pug 306? discs and sierra calipers and my RS alloys needed a bit of relieving to clear with also a 10mm spacer.
My std 4 spoke capri alloys clear mine as do my 9" minilites
I have XR3 Discs on the rear and sierra calipers, standard RS alloys are touching but the 7" Ronals go straight on with no issues
first we need to know what are "standard rims." bit vague that.
ive made a few kits that fit sierra calipers behind lotus steels
Most kits supplied these days use the mk3 escort front solid disk so have no issue with 13" rims (disk size wise).
Think the issue with some lotus steels as they are riveted and catch. Other louts steels are welded and don't catch just depends which rim you have.
as mentioned what is the standard rim concerned. Nothing is really standard when putting disks on the rear of a 45 year old car
