Power in Australia is measured in Kilowatts at the wheels, now from what I understand the UK measurement for power is BHP at the engine which is calculated by the rolling road. If that is correct, with some crude calculations my car makes 227.6kw at the wheels or a little over 300bhp at the wheels. At the engine she is producing 400hp+. Hope that clears things up a bit.
