Hope this is the right place but where are you lot getting all your fasteners from?
There's a load of stuff on ebay but I've got a load to get and I'd like to get them all in one place/pay for one lot of p&p.
While I'm at it, does anyboy know what grade the 7/16 and 3/8 UNCs are that bolt calipers to struts and discs to hubs (respectively) on Capris, Escorts etc? All I can find on ebay is 8.8 and I'm not sure I can believe that, especially being as that's a metric grade.
Cheers in advance, Jim
One day, I might get to drive it again.
I get most of my fasteners from one of three local engineers merchants. There are plenty of them around where I live.
It is getting difficult to find decent imperial fasteners, a lot of them seem to be ungraded and made of monkey metal.

Yeah, that or you've got to buy boxes of 200. Anyway, I found this lot in Hove were pretty reasonable and had everything I was after. Not especially cheap though.

All 12.9 (or grade 10) capheads so maybe a touch too strong but I'll see how I go. Of course, since then I've found nearly everything I was after lying around here at work.

Did anyone find out what bolts you need to fit anti tramp bars into the body brackets?
My kit is missing the bolts and they are now welded to the car

Can anyone tell me the corsa b power steering top nut thread for fitting the steering wheel.
Hey guys i have had a good look through the thread and i can't find out what size bolts hold the crossmember to body and the one that hold the antiroll bar onto the bodywork. If someone could get back to me asap so i can buy bolts that would be great.
Er the crossmember ones are same size and thread as inner tca bolts but they are longer

Do you want the bolts to fit crossmember to the body
?

Getting to the last bits now. Any ideas on the bolt size for bolting the bumper brackets to the bodywork.
Strange but the studs on the starter solenoid on Mk1's are 5/16 BSF.

Can anyone tell me the english axle pinion thread, thanks
sorted now, 5/8 unf
Good idea putting it in one place. Would be a great idea if someone could be bothered to build a Database with all the information that gets passed around on some of these forums.
