was thinking about possibly getting a set of the above for an unarched mk2. can anyone tell me what the clearance is like like with regards to the arch lips? what sort of tyres do you have to use or does it not matter? can the car be lowered two inches with them fitted? thanks for any forthcoming advice.
a lot go for the 175 yokos m8 they fit with no rubbing(didnt rub on my harrier anyway)but some say these tyres are to narrow,idealy you could do withborrowing some wheels with 185 or 195 see if they rub or not,then go for the widest you can
unarched mk2's on 7 inch rs 4 spokes can use 185/60/13's , 195/55/13's or 175/50/13's . Low cars may still need the upper section of the rear wheel arch lip folded flat but that's it .

much better than the 175's & fitted on 7" rims under std arches on my rally car, well ok not so std, the lips are folded back
195/55 13 are fine
