What hoses are you using on N/a yb engines main radiator hoses I have sorted but wondered how to fit the small heater hoses, my thoughts are to buy pinto set and make water rail but would like some advice before I get the big hammer out

Roose motorsport make a silicone hose set for the YB fitted to a mk1/mk2. On a n/a YB it's going to differ a little, but at least the top and bottom radiator hoses and heater to oil modine lines should work for you:

I have a set on mine (turbo, not n/a), but modified it slightly as I have a header tank on the bulkhead and a feed from that down to the bottom hose, as well as the turbo water return, neither of which you'll probably want. Obviously, be prepared to cut and modify slightly based on your own install; I ended up buying a few more generic straight pieces and 90 degree turns just to make things fit a bit neater, as well as to accommodate the various vacuum and pressure lines that you won't have on a non turbo motor.
Thanks for the link
I've bought the pinto ones as there are lots of bits in turbo set I don't need so plan to do same as you and buy the odd bends I need to keep it tidy
Has anybody got photos of how they have done there's they could add to thread
I'll see if I can find anything showing the hoses unrelated to the turbo.
Bottom hose with our modification to fill via the header tank:
Heater hose connections at the bulkhead:
Water pump and thermostat connections:
I don't have anything for the oil filter housing pipes, but the big long pipe that comes from the bulkhead loops around the back of the engine and connects to the sandwich plate. There's also a hose which comes out the other side of the sandwich plate and connects to the top corner of the head on the same side.
Nice one bud thanks
Take it the bottom hose from the heater box just goes around to the head where the temp sensor is?
And I just blank the small thermostat hose as I'm not running turbo
No, actually that's the one that goes to the oil filter cooler/sandwich plate. I've labelled what I used each piece for:
Obviously some of yours will differ slightly. But the main moulded hoses should be the same. If you're filling from the radiator I don't think you'll need any other hoses or need the top/bottom hose cutting; I just wanted the extra capacity of the header and somewhere for the turbo water return to de-gas.

Will I need the sandwich plate on though if I'm running a after market oil cooler
In that case you'll probably have to use the connection next to the coolant temperature sensor to the heater connection instead, along with the one to the water pump. Not sure how that works for water flow though.
That was the plan if it works ?? Isn't that
How they normally Fit after market ones??
Only ever put one on a straight forward pinto before years ago

Hi,
I've used for the top rad, a RS2000 MK1, but you need to cut it and a joiner to be able to match the top radiator. It's a straight one in my case.
Bottom, a RS2000 mk2 standard, may be cut a little bit to match the distance.
For the bulkhead, I used some RS2000 mk2 plus some straight and joiner, but the top heater hit the head.
The kit above looks great, I've seen that also, but too much hoses are not used in a N/A application.
Take no notice of pipes near bulk head there just bunged there
Great that's what I was hoping to do then I can run oil cooler
