bigger crankshaft pulley x/flow --> any rev limit?
my car will be mainly used on track. its fitted with a mildly tuned 1700cc x/flow.
the engine came with a bigger crankshaft pulley as usually seen on escort x/flows.
the pulley is marked 681f-6312-A-A ..i guess its from a cortina.
my rev-limit for the engine is 6500....do i need to worry about my waterpump revīs when the engien rev is high?

Re: bigger crankshaft pulley x/flow --> any rev limit?
6500 is not high! so i wouldnt be worrying about water pump speed.
BUT if your pulley is one that has the v section for the belt spot welded on, throw it away and buy a solid one, they are prone to coming apart.
