I was thinking to reproduce the ones I got from a guy called Ed Cobb because I tried to contact Ed thru mail, but no response.
May be you can try on Facebook. He has a yellow Escort MK2 for drift purpose, that's why he launched the fabrication of short arms, which were good.
I still have a pair on my escort, and I want another one for me and maybe for a friend.
I contacted jules through ebay, he said he has none in stock but might make a batch in the future. I've tried to add Ed on facebook few weeks ago with no luck and my partner also sent him a facebook/messenger message weeks ago and he hasnt even looked at it.
Would be great if you could reproduce them. I think there is definitely a market for them.
Please let us know if you produce or find a drift geometry set-up kit elsewhere.
I’d also be interested if anyone manages to get hold of some.
I'll try to removed thoses on my escort and ask a machine shop how much they will required to reproduce those.
I might be able to help here. I'm pretty sure I've got a brand new set still in the bag somewhere. It'll take me a while to find them though as I'm currently locked down as I'm booked in for an operation in 10 days time. So it'll be a few weeks maybe a month at least before I even manage to get round my garage.
I can't remember if these are drilled for rose joints or tapered ball jointed track rod ends.
Got a guy in mind to maybe reproduce them too.

Hi Mkdu,
Hi Rallyrob,
Would be great to reproduce the shortened steering arms.
Rallyrob, good luck with your operation. Get well soon.
All the best
Kerem
I saw on the second page from Ed Cobb, CS engineering :
"For 2017 on wards, this page will purely be more of a blog of the work I continue to do on the MK2 as I develop it further.
Any parts I have left will be sold, I will not be actively replacing stock in order to sell parts. Parts may pop up for sale in the future but they will be from my car or special circumstances.
Apologies for any who messaged and received no response, I am sure you can understand."
That's why we got no response.
Would be great if we could get these made. We've a customer here with 2 escorts that would be interested
Any body got a DGK file format of these. I can get um machined up.

I would be interested in a pair of these too
the machine shop is closed for holiday end of this week, so I'll drop my arms around last week of august, will see what they'll propose.

When searching for Pin about TCA post, I found that that guy is making steering arm also

I emailed him to know if he can provide shorter one.

Had any luck with this yet?
I finally found my brand new ones still in the bag. But I've lost the guys business card I had in mind to remanufacture them.
I am finally back to work this weekend after 8 weeks off, so I should be able to get it again and get in contact with him.
Still close I think, and I only removed one arm !
But I'm afraid they will be expensive.
How you guys contacted Marko in Finland ? He has billet arms.
I know him well, I buy lots of Fiat 131 parts from him.

No, do you have contact details for him?
So I finally got to my Machine guy, he's looking into making them for me and he'll come back with a price.
He asked how many are we talking about, I said 5-10 pairs, straight away he was leaning towards 10 pairs.
So the question is how many people would be interested in them, at the right price of course? I did give
him an idea on price but I'll not quote that yet until he comes back to me with how he prices them up.
ok for me for one pair
Pair for me if price is right.
Cheers

Just to be clear, that'll be for a genuine setup of rod ends ?
Otherwise a drilled arm for rose joints doesn't fit my setup.
For anyone thats not noticed jules696 new post for these steering arms he's made some more of them.

Lee
The OP has made another batch of them and readvertised them in a new thread.

Has anyone got these fitted with a quick rack? Long story short - the person fitting them for me today with my burton quick rack, couldn’t fit them due to wrong track rod ends, so he fitted a mk1 escort normal rack but the wheels have too much lock and hit the chassis rail.
I know that a quick rack doesn’t have as good of a turning circle so wondered if this would be cured by fitting the quick rack again?
Thanks
Kris
Lol I know I seem to have bought some extra lock arms and it seems I have too much lock..... how ever I wondered if other people’s setup worked ok? I think I will change them back to standard ones as I don’t know how to make the lock stops.
Thanks
Kris
You buy "extra lock steering arms" for the extra lock, then make and fit lock-limiters becauseyou have too much lock.
If you have too much money you can just send it to me !
Set of lock-limiters I made many years ago.
I have decided to sell my extra lock drifty arms, they were put on the car to drive home and that’s it. It’s a long story but basically I don’t actually need them, I don’t have enough power to even go sideways .
£120+p&p
Thanks
Kris
