    wot starter motor for cozzy 4x4

    hi fitted a mazda rx8 gearbox to my cozzy 4x4 with plate of freedy ,the trouble is the starter ,bought a 4x4 starter of ebay ,witch dident fit the bolt hole patter was totaly diffrent ,but a pinto starter fitts ,so does any one no a 4x4 starter that will fit cheers mick

    What power u running in that less than 300 ? Bolt pattern prob for 2wd version I'm guessing

    Will gbox take that ? I'm getting bits together to swop my noisy t5
    Gonna shorten the carbon prop to as meant to b strong enough :-)

    You had best ask Freddie that supplied the spacer plate what starter to use. Cosworth and Pinto starters have different length noses where the pinions are. That's why a Cosworth starter can't be used on a std Pinto with alloy belhousing.

    I don't know who has mislead you saying the RX8 box will take 500 Horse. It's the torque that will destroy it when driven hard.
