It's been plugged in and switched on to test that it all works, I have set it to english language and it's had the lastest firmware update done and downloaded the GT HD, F1 and Motorstorm demos, so it's all ready to go.
In the box is the console, 1 six axis control pad, 1 AV lead (hdmi leads are not included with them), Jap Power lead (you need to get a kettle or pc monitor power lead with a 3amp fuse, it has a universal power supply so doesn't need any step down converter). 1 lan cable and a usb lead to charge the wireless controller with.
Being the 60gb version it has WiFi and memory card / stick readers built in aswell as a 60gb hard drive. You don't need a HDTV to use this, but obviously if you have an HDTV then you will get a far better picture from it.
You all know that the PS3 games are region free so it doesn't matter which version of the console you buy it will play all the games anyway.
It will only play US or Jap Blueray films tho, don't know if it will play uk dvd's but does it really matter if it doesn't ?
Anyway the machine is in the UK and collection is prefered, your more than welcome to see it running before you part with any of your hard earned cash.
It's all setup and ready to go and with the demo's on there they will keep you going untill you find some games for it.
Alternatively if you rather I can set it back to factory settings, so you can have the excitement of setting it up yourself.

Oh nearly forgot the reason for selling it so soon is that I asked a friend to get me 1 while he was on holiday in the states, and he told me he couldn't find any over there.
So I bought this, he got back last night and rang me to say he managed to get a couple so he has 1 for me.
So as I don't need 2 of them (read as can't afford 2 of them). This 1 is for sale.
