    Arp bolts

    Just a general question but are arp 2000 rod bolts re usable or are they stretch type just putting some in my clio cup as the old engine let go on a track day and was just thinking if I do another engine could I take the bolts out and use them again not that I'm planning on blowing up another engine ha ha but ya never know

    Arp say you can, but would check how much they have stretched and if poss check the stretch when retorqued. Me personally for the cost of them re-new and have the piece of mind.

    what you should do is using a stretch gauge, measure there length, before fitting, then once they have been used recheck they havnt got longer.
    i tend to use them twice, then chuck em
