Some more exciting things happened!
A local radio station contacted me to make an Interview about my journey with the CarbonQueen! Verry exiting experience for me. He did it Live to the radio...no time for preparing.

I cleaned the garage two days before ;o)

What an honor for the CarbonQueen! My employer invited me to exhibit my Escort for an event at the Ford plant in Saarlouis.
But not anywhere.
The showroom is called "Brenda Room", named after the codename for the Escort MK2 at the time!
More history is not possible! So the #carbonqueen was back at her place of birth after 48 years.

Another great victory for the #CarbonQueen
During the last Oldtimerrace we made the 2nd Place overall and 2nd. in our class. 62 Teams started at the 7th.Saargau Classic Events. Beautyfull weather and a great route through my country. 140km with 5 special checkpoints were we had to show our skills. The Escort worked verry well without any Isssues!

Another Milestone reached with my homebuilt Escort!
I started at a "Concours d'elegance" that means a "competition of elegance" and refers to an event where prestigious vehicles are displayed and judged.
And I made the first place! Another tick the box item on my Escort Bucket list!
