    Retroford Intake

    Afternoon All,

I've emailed RetroFord twice regarding their Duratec Intake Manifolds, with no reply:

    http://www.retro-ford.co.uk/shop/con...-manifold-d024

Is anyone running one of these? If so, do you know what the port spacings are at the carb' side?

I have throttle bodies on a Pinto and would like to check their going to fit on one of these manifolds.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Is that 93/93/93mm? I have seen variations.

EDIT: Infact I have seen 90mm spacings before with a larger centre spacing. So I would just like some hard numbers.

Measure up and go to the Jenvey web site and check out there detailed drawings

Agreed, and this is supported by an equivalent Jenvey Manifold drawing:

    http://www.jenvey.co.uk/images/stori...ct/mf07_d8.pdf

Measuring my manifold, it matches the measurements Jenvey list. It would be nice if RetroFord listed an equivalent drawing for their own brand manifold, but the picture they show suggests it uses the same measurements as the Jenvey; 90/97/90mm.

    This illistrates my point:

    http://www.jenvey.co.uk/images/stori...MF17_ISS11.pdf

The equivalent Jenvey Pinto manifold has a centre spacing of 114mm! Which leads me to believe there is no standard centre spacing. The problem is, I don't fancy making a new fuel rail to suit a different manifold... I guess I'll have to give RetroFord a phone call.

I changed mine and it was just a simple cut of a piece of pipe. The o rings are already fitted into the fuel rail. Took about 5 mins to do and cost about £2
