    English axle shortening

    Hi there,
    Can anyone on here reccomend somewhere to get an English axle casing shortened? Preferably in the south east area!

    Anglia axles are narrower, you could use one of them if you can find one.

    anglia saloon casing is way shorter and have weaker narrow bearings so not great with too much spacing. anglia van is 46.5 inch casing, (2 inches narrower) but very hard to find nowadays.

    i can narrow english casings up to a half inch per side using standard halfshafts or as much as you like if using 2 piece shafts.

    only thing is im based in ireland, but i have a mate working in dartford coming home for xmas hols. if your not in a panic you could send it over with him for me to narrow it over the hols and he could take it back in the new year.

    Where are the casings being cut when shortening them
