So your bidding on a log book no vins and clearing his scrap. So later on someone is going to scam somebody there buying a gen Mex. Log book sales should be banned

    Re: Dodgy ebay listing ?

Anyone applying for a V5 for a car that has been off the road are having more checks, Some are getting home visits and the car being examined I know of a what could be called a concourse RS2000 being found to be something it was not claimed and siezed and destroyed .

So potential buyers and sellers take heed the DVLA are on your case

Dvla are useless with this though there are loads of people selling "rs2000's. I seen a guy selling a Mk1 escort and I'll give him his due he did say it was previously a 1300 and is now registered as an Irish rs2000, however I know that one day someone who doesn't know these cars inside and out and wants a nice investment will end up getting ripped off and paying the proper money for it
    Keep her lit
