Is your head standard? the HT1 cam needs at least 11.5..1 so you'll need forged pistons. If you are wanting to use std pistons then you'd be better off with something like the RL31 with 10.5.1. The only accurate way's to measure the head volume above TDC, if not it;s just pure guess work.

HT1 cam with std head and 10.5:1 CR will give ..... less bhp than std.
Suggest you sell the HT1, buy a FR32 cam, skim the head 1 mm, fit the 45's.

absolutely pointless! you will have NO power below 5000rpm, and above that less than if you went with a much much milder cam, HTi needs 12.1cr and a decent big valve head to work,

in fact even with forged pistons and compression over 11.1 an rl31 is a much better bet 95% of the time.

if its a pure road car an fr32 or fr33 is a far better bet

As above, complete waste of time, youll lose power everywhere except maybe at 700rpm if your head flows enough, you need to a lot of work to make an HT1 work well.
