And I thought I had cut it fine last time we left for pastures beyond, having only finished the forest arches with 4 weeks to go, Looks like its going into the container with wet paint.
I sit very low...im over 6 foot and can just see the front arch high point!
First time on its wheels on the ground in 2 years. And it wouldn't roll. forgot to remove the prop shaft off the floor prior to dropping it down, its too long and doesn't fit! and the floor sat on it!.

Been a while.
Moved back to OZ avoiding the plague.
Bought another house and renovating and most importantly building the biggest garage our city fringe property will allow. So not much time on the escort. Have spent some time on the Swift building adjustable Coilovers and half cage and maintaining/modifying the daily fleet.
Have some progress on the escort however.
To fit a floor mounted pedal box Ive relocated the steering column, which has the benefit of squaring it up to the driver and getting it a bit lower so I can see over the top of it. Im 6+ foot but sit that low. also incorporated a collapsible column and the intermediate steering shaft now has plenty of space for the turbo downpipe
I also built the 'Mr Roboto' control tower housing the fuses, relays, ecu, kill switch auxiliary stitches and auxiliary gauges. All within reach of me in the belted in position.
Found a Bosch motorsport DBW Throttle body that bolted straight on about 10% bigger than the standard cosworth too which is nice and compact
Also found a set of boost hoses to suit my particular conversion, managed to cobble together a series of flexible and solid hoses for radiator hoses, just making up a swirl pot now.. Also had spare distributor drive cut down to remove distributor and had rocker cover machined for Cam sensor. A small win in that the camshaft was already machined to suit the cam trigger! Win.
Dropped the coil on plug conversion on and started the chassis and ECU wiring.
Not bad for 10 months! NOT!
