    XE with servo

    Hi all,

i am collecting parts for my XE conversion, but the car I have recently bought has a servo fitted. It occurred to me that most conversions I have seen done have one like that fitted. Would there be enough room?

Do any of you run an XE with a standard brake pedal format?

    Thanks
    kris

I can't really see how; the tower is pretty much exactly where a pair of sidedraughts or throttle bodies will be.

    Here's how mine looked:

Not only have you got the inlet manifold and carbs to deal with, the alternator is right underneath, just where your fluid reservoir is.

If you want to retain the servo, I think you'll have to relocate it and get a remote kit.
