If your prop is vibrating at speed, just take it to a propshaft specialist and get it re-balanced. They will also access the condition of the yokes and splines.
I used Dunning & Fairbank in Leeds, they ended up making a complete new shaft for me due to worn yokes but it didn't cost any more than the 'off the shelf' ones available. Also, as its based on your existing one you know it will fit!
Note - if your car is running its original engine and gearbox it is likely that the gearbox is not a type-E but a type-2. Base model shafts are 3" longer than rs2000 ones from memory and they defiantly have a different number of splines to match the gearbox.
