Was at Northampton Motorsport today as we had the 105Speed Rolling Road Day and when I got there Troy called me over to the PC thats connected to the rollers and said check that out !

It was the graph from a MkII escort they'd had in on Friday and it made 309bhp....... with a curve so smooth it could have been on Kylies bum

This was a Pete Jones (Jondel) 2.3 Duratec which had made 303bhp on an engine dyno earlier in the week.


As we all know from the development of the Cossie YB that what the serious tuners are getting at the start of the development cycle people on the street will be getting in the future and often very cheaply.

What would be interesting is at revs is it developing this amount of power. Terry Hoyle 2 liter BDAs on mechanical injection used to give out about 270 at 9000 that was 25 years ago.
