    EPS on a power rack??

I rebuilt a Mk 1 Capri lhd power rack (because I can't find one) but I fear the pitting on the ram was too severe and it'll leak fluid into the gaiter area.. I did try and fill the pits with superglue and sanded down but tbh I don't hold much hope for it.
Could I just drain the rack and fit eps?
    Cheers!

yep, quite a few circuit racers use power racks but without any fluid in them

It's a full turn less from lock to lock than manual rack too. I wonder what donor eps I could source here at the junkyards of North America... definitely no corsas about! Thanks Graham

I googled that Chevy Cobalt seems to have an EPS, and there are kits here as well; http://americanpowertrain.com/p-2945...-steering.html

The MGF EPS I fitted to my Capri transformed the car a bit, I really like it. I use a manual quick rack though.
