looks lovely mate.should be a nice motor.just a word of warning.look at what championship you are planning on entering and read the rule book.the one we are doing doesnt let you run a vauxhall engine in a mk2 escort and you will be put in the dumping ground.but keep cracking on with it bud
tommy 2000
Ok, dont want to call the Stress Engineer a liar, but those will bend or fatigue.. 2L XE .. lets say 150ft/lb ... through first gear x (2.89)=433.5 ft/lb x the CWP ratio (4.1 say) = 1777.35 ft/lb of torque pulling on those arms.
Saving a few quid now can cost lot when it its running , you could be looking at a nasty crash if they let go and dig into the tarmac.

They are £21 a pair from rally design, hardly worth scrimping over £21 in my opinion. Buy the correct item for the job,job done
Ye think you lot are right really, prob just an excuse just to dabble at makin sum bits. Ayway planning to get sum carbon ones made at work hopefully, should be different????
Not planning to run the car in any particular championship btw, more of a project car. Prob just pick and chose the events i'll enter it in. Prety busy with the porsche championship anyway.
