A little history. bought the car 4 years ago. It looked in pretty good condition. after a week i found out it was a lemon. And the project started. Did some welding on the car. And redid the interior. Drove for a while, a whole lot of parts broke meanwhile. And the engine started braking also. I did not want to diagnose the problem but i am pretty sure it were the bearings. so i bought a donor car wich had an 3.1v6 in it. swapped the engine painted it etc.
The 3.1 had some more torque but it wasn't fast enough.
SO i bought a supercharger. A sprintex s102 supercharger that came with a power engineering kit for the xr4x4's (only about 70 made of these kits). The kit was a bolt on kit no need to customize the engine just bolt it on.
Started upgrading the engine for the supercharger just to be cautious. Found out it also needed a rebuild. With a new crank because the cranknose was damaged. After a whole hustle i found some one who whould sell his 2.9 crankshaft and rebuolded the motor.

Car drove pretty good. I replaced almost everything on the chassis for new parts and the engine was freshly rebuilt. But problems started occuring again. Ignition and fueling problems. Replaced everything of the ignition and bought new injectors etc for the fueling. It sorted out the ignition problem but it didn't sort out the fueling. Some injectors just stopped injecting randomly. Rebuilded my k-jet WUR and checked my fuel distrubutor. Later i found out it was the fuel pump and accumulator.

car drove fine again. But had the feeling the fueling wasn't right. Bought an AEM AFR meter and was shocked by the AFR's it was showing. under full throttle it leaned out to 14/15. Luckily i got some help from a guy in Australia. and modifed my WUR to get the fueling better.
I tested the AFR's till my engine started leaking oil very badly.

In short i replaced everything on the car because things broke (might think the car is possessed) almost everthing is new except the diff and gearbox.

The engine is out now and im preparing for the final steps to fit the supercharger. THe engine has a little high compression and i'm waiting for my custom head gasket.

Also bought EFI parts but don't know if i am capable to fit and program it.
