Probably a similar spec to my pinto, I'm using 40mm chokes in my 196hp pinto

Nice, Don't think I'll get that big a figure but my current engine is a knackered standard one with about 80hp so I'm very much looking forward to the increase in power with a change of powerplant to happen down the track with more power
Hey Mate,
I got mine from this guy - http://www.alachi57.com/2.html
Although I am thinking of drilling out the arms and just using bolts as there is not a lot of room to adjust up or down for Bump Steer. Time will tell.
Cheers
Matt
looks the nuts
Onto the rear arches. Not going the full tub so you can see from the pics how we went about it
Rear arches pretty much done now. Really good fit.
Onto the front. Drivers side looking good. Damn there's a lot of metal to remove! Although I can finally fit some decent wheels and tyres though. Rolling on 22"....

Passenger side..... Wasn't too happy to find this!
So that's as of today....
Will update soon
hi matt..just came across these pics...yea i think the wing looks good...
cheers mark
Yes, That's the that I am looking to replicate in my own fashion...
Great to see pics popping up from time to time, i've been sharing this car in races all over the world since 2009 with my ol' mate Tony porky Paxman.
Rear spoiler was a short oval /hot rod blade.
End plates were cut from 4mm ally sheet.
This is looking great mate
great looking project, your shells are in so much better condition over there than ours, looking forward to the updates
Bit of an update.
Here is the infill we did for the tubs
Then we started looking for rust and have found lots
Repaired the drivers side footwell
Grinding and finding rust and bog.....soo much bog
Few more things
Had to cut holes in the roof to get at the roll cage to finish off welding it
Onto the front where we cleaned up the front panel
coming on strong...its not an escort if it hasnt got rust...looking good.cheers mark
With regards to your rear wing...this is an other option i looked at...
you might find something like this ... they are wind generater blades...

Thanks mate, hopefully end of week we'll dry build the car then might get it all sandblasted to ensure there's no surprises to pop up in the future.
Thanks mate, they look pretty good. The plan atm if to find another spoiler and use the blade and make some side supports. Time will tell if we can find anything.
Thanks heaps
Bit more rust replacement
Left hand rear wells all fixed
Rear left quarter panel all cleaned up
After the holes in the roof were welded up there was a bit of deformity going on....This'll need a bit of work to fix
Next step is to dry build the car so we know everything fits and then it time to prep and paint...
Thanks for looking
Matt
zooming along now...the dry build will look cool...always a shame to dismantel again...hope the roof works out....i normally do it the opposit way .cut the hole in the floor and drop the cage....cheers mark
Yeah, in hindsight we should have done that method too. Oh well....
Gonna look the dogs m8...
Keep chipping away
