Little bit but mostly haven't got around to cutting them off

First track day is in June so the clock is ticking

You're overdue for an update too!

    Cheers

Re: Matt's Mk 2 Grp 2 Zakspeed Replica

Been a bit slow of late bit still progressing

Picked up some 245/50R15 slicks for the fronts and I'll get some 275/50's for the rear

Next job is the wiring. I've got an EzyWire kit to hopefully make things easier

Got some billet switches made up. I've always wanted a potato button for some stupid reason so here it is. This will be the horn. The panty dropper will be the start button!!

Then we made a switch panel to mount this all on the dash board to the left of the steering wheel

That's enough for now so a drink is in order!

Looking good. Was wondering when we'd see an update.

Where did you get those switches? They look great. Did you supply the images or where they from a selection?

You still on track to make June?

By the way, I couldn't help myself. That spare 4dr shell now has a donor roof, doors, rally tyres, buckets harness and picking up a 6 point weld in cage on Thursday. Going to throw a pinto and webers with RX8 box in it I have lying around. Will serve as a practice car before I build my arched 2 door. Should be a good laugh throwing around a car I don't care for...

    Hey Mate,

I got the switches from here. https://billetautomotivebuttons.com/...billet-buttons

Realistically not going to make June but won't be far off

Great job on the 4 door too! Can't wait to see it in racing anger

    Cheers

    Matt

Switch box now all folded up

Going to mount this here so it is in my field of vision

Then got more fittings to mount the fuel pressure sensor in the fuel line

What about black wrinkle paint? Grind down welds first of course.

What the hell does Panty Dropper button do?

the stupid K&N filters don't fit over the large trumpets so I need to get a new filter set up

Im thinking of a pipercross airbox set up

few pics of the trumpets that are too big for the filters
