Hi Dougie from Falkirk have a general question that hopefully someone may be able to help me out with, I recently bought an 87 XR2 that had been set up as a track day car it's fitted with a 1600 crossflow engine weber 45 carburettor and a 5 speed box, a guy I know said it's worth a couple of quid and as I'm looking to restore the XR2 to original I'm removing the engine, roll cage and front/rear strut braces so can I get anything back for them.

If this is a (87) mk2 fiesta xr2 the engine is wrong although it will fit. Mk2 were fitted with a cvh engine. Depending on spec it will be worth a reasonable amount
