New Bits Fitted

Since having the engine & box fitted by the very nice Neil @ NTS, Ive been doing a bit of tidying up as well as sticking some miles on it.
I managed to get hold of a Turbo Tail spoiler and had that tarted up and powder coated. I took off the bumpers and had them shot blast and powder coated, they look like new now and a mate off OSF sorted out some 5 series BMW headlights which Ive also added.

Also got the cam cover powder coated silver & black

We'll have to think about trying to get another meet going with having this many cars on the road at the moment

No the spoiler is a glass fibre one, think Fibresports still do them.

Its not mint by any means but its been in the family from 6months old and was reshelled in the early 90's with one of the last shells from Ford which I helped with so when it came up for sale in '99(I was after a mk2 RS or Mexico) I snapped it up.

I have a new one of those sitting in the garage all wrapped up from my Capri days

No one makes them any more and even the fiberglass ones are now becoming rare as rocking horse shit!
Might need to sell mine for some Cortina spending money some day, but i just keep promising my self another Capri and the turbo tail is one part of my over all dream Capri.
