Thats not right, if you halve the weight you double (not quadrupel) the acceleration.. For example using made up values;

F=ma
100=10 x 10

now halve the mass but keep the force the same..
100=5 x 20

So the weigh halved from 10 to 5, the acceleration has doubled from 10 to 20.

To get it to quadrupel there would have to be a squared term in there, which there isn't.

Just though I'd clear that up..

whatever the arguments over duratec vs pinto - both cars are the nuts, I am sure that both cars provide great levels of enjoyments and and fair play to both owners
