I thought I best introduce myself before I start asking you all questions
I have just got myself a Westfield with an 1840 Crossflow and I understand there maybe other crossflow fans on here
I've been into motorcycles for the last 38 years and still have a couple in the garage but I haven't had much to do with cars for about 25 years.. I had seven Capri's the last one being the 3.0S countless minis and built a Monte Carlo style one using an MG metro engine, which I tuned along with a couple of other minis, with good results using David Vizards book. Also had a smattering of escorts.
but for now I'm back in love with the mighty X-Flow

Welcome, I am also a Crossflow fan, have a 1720 (84mm std crank) in a Mk1 Mexico. How is your 1840 achieved ?, this was the cc of the 1970 World Cup Rally Cars.
