Tranx sl72 dog box

As the title, tranx 5 speed. 1st - 5th works perfect, but it's very difficult to get into reverse. I would recommend to goes to someone like competition transmission service to be looked at.

Comes with a quaife short shift gear stick.

Priced to sell at £1750. I paid £2300 for it a year ago so there's a good chunk of money there to look at the reverse with.

I'm only selling after upgrading to a sequential box.

Is your Tran X gearbox direct top or overdrive 5th Shaunster? What age and work has the gearbox done? The problem with the SL 72 gearbox is spare parts since Quaife took them over.

Its an overdrive 5th box. It was stipped and checked by gearboxman less than 500 miles ago, the dogs looked in good condition when it was open. Very happy to get the lid off and take some photos.

btw its an iron case box.

It's a shame it was n't the direct top gearbox with the ZF ratios then I might have been interested. I have some Duratec Parts that I was intending to eventually use for a build including a dry sump kit.
