here a power plot from my 8v 2002 turbo lump after i dropped it in the E30 shell, this is an early power run, the intercooler was too small and the inlet temp going far too high as the revs went up so we had to back the boost off more than i wanted, later on with a bigger intercooler it made almost 350bhp, but even on a small intercooler it had 316bhp and a stonking 350lbft.
the engine was pretty much std, apart from a fast road cam, and a set of std YB pistons, which i used cos they are fairly cheap and will handle a decent amount of boost unlike the std 02 turbo pistons. it had a t34 turbo on a fabricated stainless 4 into 1 manifold.
it was my first and only go a turboing this engine because although it worked well i wanted an engien which could out run the turbo ybs rather than just live with some of them, so before i started the phase 2 upgrade i got hold of an m3 lump at the right money and thats in a totally different league powerwise
